SANDOVAL LAKE FULL DAY  – PUERTO MALDONADO

Early in the morning we will go to the river to aboard the motorized boat to take us to the entrance to the reserve of the Sandoval Lake downstream for 35 minutes, about this tour we will appreciate two very different rivers and colorful the Madre de Dios and Tambopata River.

Browsing this river will arrive to the control of the Sandoval Lake, disembarking will begin to walk for about an hour through the jungle; in the route we will find a great diversity of flora and fauna.

Then we will arrive at the lodge Maloca, located on the shores of the Sandoval Lake, where we will board a rowboat and will paddle around the lake where we will see a variety of plants such as orchids and platanillos; chickens and wild birds, herons, ducks needle, shanshos (the oldest bird ever), animals such as turtles, otters, etc. You can also enjoy a variety of exotic fish such as piranhas, catfish and payches.

After a short break and walk around the area, return to the jungle path to the banks of the Madre de Dios where we expect the motorized boat to return to the city of Puerto Maldonado.
